Turner, Murdoch Feud Heats Up: The battle between Ted Turner and Rupert Murdoch intensified after Turner compared Murdoch to Adolf Hitler in offhand remarks. Speaking to a few reporters at Time Warner headquarters in New York, Turner said that doing business with Murdoch was like trying to confront the “late Fuhrer.” Turner, whose Cable News Network will face a challenge from a 24-hour Fox News channel being launched Oct. 7, also said Murdoch’s News Corp. is not a credible news organization and that it resorts to “yellow” journalism. Murdoch told the Wall Street Journal: “Ted Turner will say much worse before it’s through.
