Lecture to Address AIDS and Judaism

Rabbi Rafael Goldstein, director of Los Angeles Jewish AIDS Services, will speak on “What Makes AIDS a Jewish Issue?” at a Women’s League for Conservative Judaism meeting this morning at the University of Judaism.

The program, which is open to the public, begins with refreshments at 9:30 a.m., followed by the lecture at 10. Participants are asked to bring a bath-size bar of soap for the group, which provides food and other items to people with HIV and AIDS.
