Registration Begins for Fall Extension Classes

Registration starts today for fall workshops and seminars given through the Pierce College extension program.

Enrollment begins at 11 a.m. at the extension office, 6201 Winnetka Ave., Woodland Hills.

Among the 170 workshops being offered are programs on consumer education and how to become a full-service travel agent. There will also be Halloween, Hanukkah and Christmas holiday workshops.

Other subjects deal with writing children’s books, and career women and image.

The extension program is meant to offer knowledge and skills not normally available in traditional for-credit programs.
