Semtech Resolves Claim Related to Deliveries

Semtech Corp. of Newbury Park said it has resolved a claim relating to product deliveries, which had been brought against it by Alpha Semiconductor, one of its foundry customers.

The claim was filed as Semtech speeded production to meet increased demand for its semiconductor products, primarily for the personal computer industry.

The settlement with Northern California-based Alpha Semiconductor will not impact delivery schedules to any of Semtech’s other customers, nor will it negatively impact operating results, officials said.
