Mullen Story Shows Heart, Inspiration

Share

I am a grown man with boys and a wife I love dearly. The story on Molli Mullen, the high school athlete who is persevering in her fight with cancer and the death of her mother made me cry, and I am not ashamed of saying so. Who cares about a 15% tax cut promise or who is a better debater?

Hang in there Ms. Mullen. The picture of you on the bike pedaling down the hallway with other young cancer victims says more about what is needed in this world than all of the print of the pages preceding you.

To Molli Mullen: Thank you for being an ambassador of courage and love for our community. The world is a better place because of you. Good luck next year when you return to the mound. By the way, your mom is one very proud angel.
