Sequoia Is Acquired

General Automation Inc. said it has completed its acquisition of software company Sequoia Enterprise Systems for about $11 million.

The acquisition of Sequoia, a unit of Houston-based Sequoia Systems Inc., will boost General Automation’s annual revenue to nearly $50 million, nearly double existing revenue, said Jane Christie, president and chief executive of the Irvine computer services firm.
