Kevorkian Threat Case Comes to End

A man arrested outside the office of Jack Kevorkian’s lawyer with an unloaded handgun and ammunition in his car pleaded guilty to a charge of carrying a concealed weapon. Larry Blakeman, 39, of Leetonia, Ohio, could be sentenced to up to five years in prison next month. Blakeman was arrested Sept. 20 after allegedly telling construction workers in Southfield, Mich., that he wanted to “stop” Kevorkian.
