Company officials said the improved results were due to a richer product mix, continued efficiencies resulting from the company’s relocation to a 25,000-square-foot facility and the utilization of more automated equipment, as well as reduced general and administrative costs.

Revenues for the quarter were derived primarily from the sale of cellular and wireless telephone products, generating approximately $3.3 million or 84% of total sales. Other revenues came from the sale of custom products.

AML Communications designs and manufactures multicarrier amplifiers, repeaters and related products for the cellular, paging and other communications markets.
