Go-Go Glendale

TIMES STAFF WRITER

The thriving entertainment business has soaked up much of the available commercial office space in Glendale and surrounding areas, according to area brokers. The demand for space by entertainment companies has been so strong that many developers are transforming former aerospace factories into offices and lofts for studio animators and other workers. Glendale landlords are able to command office rents that, on average, are almost twice as high as those in the struggling downtown Los Angeles market.
