Re interview with William Julius Wilson, Harvard professor and an authority on poverty and the inner city, Opinion, Nov. 3: My first awareness of this man was on the “Charlie Rose” show and then through your interview. It is remarkable that a person with so much knowledge and intellect is just becoming widely known at the age of 60.
