3D Systems Opens Plant in Colorado

3D Systems Corp., a Valencia-based supplier of solid-imaging systems used by manufacturers to make prototypes and tooling quickly, has opened a $5-million manufacturing facility in Grand Junction, Colo.

The company said that all new production will be done at the Grand Junction plant. Although its corporate headquarters will remain in Valencia, 3D Systems said that several other departments have been moved to the new facility, including engineering and customer service.
