From Times Wire Reports

A Moscow cemetery blast that killed 12 people led to new charges that Russian officials have ties to the mob. Mitrofan Amosov, an official of the lucrative Afghan War Invalids Foundation, whose leaders were the targets of the blast, blamed the attack on unidentified “government bureaucrats” who wanted to “cover up the tracks of big money passing through the [foundation’s] accounts.” He did not elaborate. Authorities initially said 13 people were killed before revising that total to 12.
