Xircom Adapter Wins Byte Magazine Award

Xircom Inc., based in Thousand Oaks, captured Byte magazine’s top honor in the best connectivity hardware category for the company’s new 32-bit CardBus Ethernet 10/100 adapter for portable computers.

Xircom started shipping the adapter on Nov. 4.

Xircom manufactures PC card communications products to connect mobile and remote portable computer users to corporate networks, the Internet and other online services from a wide variety of locations.
