The Images Stay Still; the Features Take You Forward
Sony is coming out with a little digital still camera that has several slick features.
Weighing only 10.6 ounces and measuring 4 by 3 by 1.6 inches, the DSC-F1 has a 1.8-inch liquid crystal display color screen so you can see what you’re shooting without holding the camera up to your eye. You also can instantly review your pictures and delete any you don’t want.
Even more impressive is the camera’s built-in infrared transceiver that lets it wirelessly transfer images to a PC. (The computer has to be equipped with an IrDA-compatible infrared port.) It also can wirelessly send pictures to Sony’s new DPP-M55 Digital Color Photo Printer ($499.99).
