Girl Eats LSD in Candy Heart; Mother Is Jailed

SALT LAKE CITY —
A woman was in jail Monday on suspicion of drug possession and child abuse after police said her 5-year-old daughter ate two LSD-laced candy hearts.
Suzanna Schroeppel, 23, called for help after her daughter, Jessica, lost consciousness at home Saturday night.
Jessica was admitted to Primary Children’s Hospital in critical condition after ingesting “two hits” of the hallucinogen.
