“I had a really great German wine the other night from the Rheinhessen, and the producer was Wittmann. It is made from a very obscure grape called Albalonga. It’s got a wonderful tangerine-apricot flavor, kind of like a turbo-charged Riesling.

“The full name is so complicated it beats the heck out of me what it was. This is why New World wines will ultimately dominate the universe.”
