Returning 85 cents that fell from a crashed armored truck paid off for Herbert Tarvin on Thursday, when he, his family and his sixth-grade class were given a free trip to Walt Disney World.

Herbert, 11, was one of only two people who returned money scooped up by passersby when an armored truck crashed on an overpass last month, pouring cash into an impoverished Miami neighborhood below.

In an attempt to get back some of the estimated $550,000 still missing after the Jan. 8 crash, police declared two amnesties. Only a single mother of six, who turned in about $20 in quarters and pennies, and Herbert came forward. He gave the 85 cents to a teacher.
