A Capital Idea for Firms Seeking Funds

The Orange County Venture Network, a consortium of venture capital firms that invest in small- and medium-sized growth companies, has published the new edition of its Southern California Funding directory.

The 272-page book lists financial and business service contacts from San Diego to Santa Barbara (Santa Ana is in there too) and has a reference section with advice on starting a new business, obtaining financing and expanding existing businesses.

It costs $34.95 and can be ordered by calling the Venture Network at (714) 855-0652. Copies also are placed in public library branches.
