Saddleback 83, Rancho Santiago 63--Brian Perkins scored 27 points for third-place Saddleback (19-10, 9-5).

Riverside 76, Golden West 66--Ray Jimmerson scored 21 points and Jacy Armbruster added 15 points and 10 rebounds for Golden West (8-22, 3-11).

In women’s basketball:

Irvine Valley 73, Cypress 63--Heather Cunningham scored 24 and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Irvine Valley (22-6, 9-1).

Fullerton 69, Orange Coast 51--Angie Baca scored 14 points, Michelle deBruijn had 13 and Paola Flores 12 for Fullerton.

In the Professional Golfers Career College Invitational:

Saddleback wins--Michael McGinley and Jeremy Eastman each shot four-over-par 148 to lead Saddleback (24-0) to its second invitational victory this season. McGinley shot two rounds of 74 and Eastman shot a 76 and a par 72 at Menifee Lakes and Temeku Hills Golf Clubs.

In Orange Empire Conference women’s track and field:

Golden West 97, Orange Coast 73, Mira Costa 5--Kim Watts finished first in the javelin (108 feet, 4 inches), 100 hurdles (17.4 seconds), 400 hurdles (1:11.5), and long jump (15-4) for Golden West (2-2).

In Orange Empire Conference men’s volleyball:

Orange Coast 3, Golden West 1--Jason Klems had 33 kills for Orange Coast (4-0, 2-0), which won, 9-15, 15-13, 15-7, 15-9. Scott Lane had 37 kills for Golden West (2-1, 1-1), which beat OCC to win the state title last season.
