Hazardous-Waste Collections Planned
The city’s Hazmobile will visit Pacoima this week to collect hazardous household waste such as paint, motor oil, pesticides and cleaners.
Residents can make appointments to drop off materials from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. The Hazmobile will be at the Hansen Dam Recreation Center parking lot in the 11700 block of Foothill Boulevard.
Any household materials labeled toxic, corrosive, flammable, irritant or poison will be accepted.
Appointments are required for the program, which is free and open to all Los Angeles County residents.
