Wisteria Vine

Sierra Madre

Every spring since 1918, visitors have trekked to see one of the “seven horticultural wonders of the world,” a sea of lavender blossoms from the 103-year-old fragrant Chinese wisteria vine that extends more than an acre on two residential properties. Open for viewing March 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour is free, but tickets are limited and reservations are required: (818) 306-1150.
