Planning Commission Gets 2 More Members
The City Council has expanded the Planning Commission to seven members from five.
Three years ago, the commission was reduced to five members amid some controversy.
Jack W. Mauller, who was forced off the commission at the time, was one of the City Council members who voted to return the total to seven.
Council members were unanimous in their view that the smaller commission was not working effectively. For example, the group had to cancel two meetings recently because it did not have a quorum.
