Spotlight: Shipments of Diabetes Test Strips Halted Again

Shipments of blood-sugar monitoring strips made by Irvine-based Diagnostic Solutions Inc. were halted voluntarily for the second time in three months after the firm failed to resolve regulators’ quality concerns. The company’s distributor, Chronimed Inc. of Minnetonka, Minn., suspended shipments for that reason but said in December that the companies were working to resolve the matter. Chronimed resumed shipments earlier this month but suspended them again Monday.
