Luxury Homes Planned in Sunset Ridge, Wood Ranch

Two companies have purchased building sites in Ventura County, with plans to build luxury homes.

RWR Companies purchased 66 home sites near Sunset Hills Boulevard in Thousand Oaks from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. for $3.2 million. The company plans to build 2,800- to 3,750-square-foot homes in the Sunset Ridge development.

The houses will be priced from the high $300,000s to the mid-$400,000s.

Richmond American Homes purchased 17 lots in Wood Ranch in Simi Valley from Richland Interest for $2.23 million. Richmond American will build 3,600- to 4,200-square-foot homes priced from $400,000.

Chaparral Land Co. in Westlake Village represented the buyers in the transactions.
