Walk to Help Fight Multiple Sclerosis

Share

The Channel Islands Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society will hold its annual MS WALK at 9 a.m. April 12 at Simi Valley’s Rancho Tapo Community Park, located at Lemon Drive and Avenida Simi.

The 6.2-mile walk will loop through the scenic areas of Simi Valley and include a 3.1-mile handicap-accessible route. With symptoms ranging from numbness to paralysis, multiple sclerosis is a disease that randomly attacks the central nervous system and gradually leaves victims with little control of their bodies.

MS WALK participants will raise funds to find a cure for the disease and help support community assistance programs for people living with MS.
