Candy Washes Up on Nantucket Island

Beachcombers picked through thousands of Hershey Kisses, Tootsie Rolls and other candies that washed up on Nantucket Island after a container ship lost its cargo in heavy winds. The Polish-registered ship Pol America lost 23 cargo containers filled with everything from candy to shoes, furniture and a car when it encountered near-hurricane winds and waves as high as 30 feet, the U.S. Coast Guard told Reuters.
