London-based Tomkins said it agreed to acquire Stant Corp. of Indiana for $606 million, or $21.50 a share, in stock and assumed debt, adding a leading maker of automotive windshield wipers and blades to its businesses. . . . Consumer electronics retailer Best Buy Co. was profitable in the fiscal fourth quarter, countering expectations of a loss.
