RemedyTemp Inc.: The San Juan Capistrano provider of temporary staffing services posted net income of $2 million, or 23 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter, up from $1.3 million, or 16 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter ended March 30 increased 28% to $83.6 million from $65.4 million. The company’s initial public stock offering occurred July 11. Net income for the first half gained 44% to $4.6 million, or 51 cents a share, from $3.2 million, or 42 cents a share, for the same six months a year ago. Revenue rose 29% to $168.2 million from $130.1 million.
