Tours: From Branson to Buffalo

Trieloff Tours, which has been packaging tours for mature travelers for 15 years, is offering 20 tours this summer and fall: from New England’s autumn leaves show to country-and-western clubs in Branson, Mo.

The trips--many with multiple departure dates--include round-trip air fare from Los Angeles and other Southwest cities, including San Francisco, San Diego and Phoenix. Prices are quoted are per person, double occupancy. Single supplements are available. Trieloff, which is based in Irvine, chooses hotels that are first class or deluxe. All participants receive a complimentary travel bag and are accompanied by a full-time escort.

* A Great Smoky Mountain Music Tour--seven days--$1,299. Departures Oct. 16 and 23. Includes nine meals.

* Fall Foliage Tour--eight days--$1,399. Departs Sept. 22. Includes Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Lake Placid in New York, plus Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City in Canada. Includes nine nights’ hotel accommodation and visits to Boston, Concord and Lexington, Mass.; New Hampshire; and Maine plus three Canadian cities.

* A Fun Fling in Florida--10 days--$1,599. Departs Nov. 24. Includes five breakfasts, Thanksgiving dinner and four other dinners. Visits include the Florida cities of Orlando, Clearwater, Naples, St. Augustine, Palm Beach, Key West and Sarasota.

* The Canadian Rockies and the Calgary Stampede--eight days--$1,199. Departs July 11. Includes a Calgary, Canada, tour, Calgary Stampede Rodeo and Chuck Wagon Races, Canadian Rockies tour to Lake Louise and the Columbia Icefields, plus the Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology in Calgary.

* A Show Tour to Branson, Mo.--seven days--$1,299. Several departures in May, September and October. Includes one full breakfast, five continental breakfasts and five dinners. In St. Louis, visit the Gateway Arch, St. Louis Cathedral, Union Station. The entertainment schedule in Branson includes performances of the Passion Play, Pine Mountain Jamboree, Country Tonite Theater, Shoji Tabuchi, Silver Dollar City, Bobby Vinton, Andy Williams, Mel Tillisand the Lawrence Welk Theater.
