Reno Outscores the Vigilantes, 13-12

Reno scored four runs in the eighth inning to defeat the visiting Vigilantes, 13-12, in a Western League baseball game Friday.

Todd Takayoshi and Andrew Tarpley each homered for Reno.

Carl Nichols had three runs batted in for the Vigilantes, as did teammates Corey Parker and Eric Brooks, who is second in the league in hitting at .476.

Todd Carl was the winning pitcher for the Chukars (11-3). Kirt Kishita was the loser for the Vigilantes (7-7).
