Brea Olinda High School’s senior class has put the finishing touches on a project to put a face in the clockless clock tower.
As their class gift to the school, the students bought and installed a large clock for the school tower.
As a cost-cutting measure during construction, the school tower was scaled down and never got a timepiece, Activities Director Bill Tangeman said.
“They wanted to do something really different, and when they heard the story they decided on a clock,” he said.
The students used $3,000 of senior class funds and raised $1,300 more to complete the project.
