Apple Computer Inc. filed for co-founder Steve Jobs to sell 1.5 million shares he acquired when the Cupertino-based computer maker bought Next Software Inc. in February for $425 million. The Securities and Exchange Commission filing said the sale would leave Jobs with just one share of Apple, which has lost more than $1.5 billion in the last six quarters. Jobs founded Next in 1985 after being ousted from Apple. Since February, he has served as an advisor to Apple Chief Executive Gilbert Amelio.
