From Times Staff and Wire Reports

Three friends sentenced to 15 years for pulling up a stop sign, leading to an accident that killed three teens, were freed pending appeals. Nissa Baillie, 21, and Christopher Cole, 20, posted bail. They were met by their friend, Thomas Miller, 20, who made bail the day all three were sentenced. Defense attorneys want the court either to throw out the verdict or order a new trial.
