Alplha Microsystems, Westergaard Ink Deal

Alpha Microsystems said Tuesday that it signed a licensing agreement with Westergaard Online Systems Inc. to develop a system to make it easier and faster for investors to gather information on small companies.

Alplha Microsystems, based in Santa Ana, will customize and integrate its technology into a new service provided by Westergaard at its existing Internet site and at a new site called Westergaard Internet Broadcasting.

Westergaard, based in New York City, will introduce the service--free to Internet users--in September.

Alpha Microsystems will receive an advance fee for customizing its technology, ongoing royalties based on revenue from subscribers to certain Westergaard’s Web services and a monthly fee for providing and supporting a server with multiple data feeds. Further terms were not disclosed.
