It’s the height of summer, time to start thinking about putting up those peaches and ears of corn that seem so abundant right now. Jan Berry’s new cookbook, “Art of Preserving” (Ten Speed Press, 1997), with pages of color photos by Rodney Weidland, should provide plenty of inspiration.
