UCI’s Dr. DiSaia Gets Ob-Gyn Board Office

Philip J. DiSaia, chief of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at UC Irvine, has been elected vice president of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

As vice president, DiSaia will serve as chairman of the board’s policy committee and continue to serve as member of the executive committee.

DiSaia, who received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Yale University, was included in the 1996-97 edition of the “Best Doctors in America: Pacific Region” and was named in the August issue of Good Housekeeping magazine in a feature, “The Best Doctors for Women.”
