Share

Opponent--New York Liberty.

Site--Forum.

Time--7:30.

Records--Sparks 12-13, Liberty 16-9.

Update--The Sparks’ confidence is brimming after another solid showing, a 75-66 victory over Phoenix on Monday. The team has been on a roll since a 67-50 victory over the Liberty at Madison Square Garden two weeks ago. They’ve won four of five, are one win away from .500 and are a game behind Western Conference leader Phoenix, which plays at Sacramento tonight. New York is also in a close race. The Liberty, which got off to a 13-3 start, trails Houston (17-8) by a game. Nancy Darsch’s team has tailed off markedly since its great start. Since losing to the Sparks, the Liberty has lost five of six, including Tuesday night’s 81-75 loss to Utah. The Sparks, who said they expect about 14,000 tonight, play host to Sacramento on Friday and close the regular season at Phoenix on Sunday.
