Banks Find More Mobutu Funds

Swiss banks have discovered more funds of deposed Zairian dictator Mobutu Sese Seko, more than two months after they said they found only $3.4 million and declared the matter closed, officials said. Finance Ministry spokesman Hugo Schittenhelm said that banks have found another $660,000 belonging to Mobutu and his family. Switzerland froze the assets of Mobutu and his family in May after he was toppled by Laurent Kabila’s rebel army.
