Re “Alums Put Best Feats Forward,” Aug. 19: What do you expect from us? The class correspondent is unpaid and unsung, and now vilified. This job naturally devolves to the least talented, most underemployed member of the class. After waxing eloquent about her trip to Bosnia to monitor local elections, one member said as she concluded her lengthy note, “What have you done lately?” Now I have an answer--I wrote the editor of The Times.
