Kaiser to Start Building Offices in Simi Valley
Construction is scheduled to begin this month for the new Kaiser Permanente Simi Valley medical offices.
“The new medical office building will give a fresh, new face to our operations in Simi Valley,” said Dr. David Carrington, the physician in charge of Kaiser’s Simi Valley medical offices. “We are looking forward to enhancing personalized care and access with additional primary-care providers and specialty services.”
The Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program provides health care to more than 2 million members in Southern California and nearly 7 million nationwide. More than 150,000 residents of the west San Fernando Valley and Ventura County receive care at the Woodland Hills medical center, with 18,000 served at medical offices in Simi Valley and 20,000 in Thousand Oaks.
“We’re very excited about the future site, which will enable Kaiser Permanente to have a greater presence in the Simi Valley area,” said Otis Spencer, administrator for the Woodland Hills service area. “The main purpose for building the larger facility is to make sure our members have the services they need closer to home.”
