It’s tougher today to be a parent in America, according to a study by Public Agenda. Survey participants blamed drugs, crime, sex, violence in the media, and unorganized and unsafe public schools. This is how respondents answered the question “Do you think it’s much harder or much easier for parents to do their job these days?”:
Much harder: 81%
About the same: 17%
Much easier: 2%
