Scholarships Awarded to 6 at Western State

Six students at Western State University College of Law have received Scott McCune scholarships of $5,000 each.

McCune was a local attorney and Western State alumnus who died in 1990. His parents established the annual scholarship in his memory, and as of this year, more than 30 students have benefited.

This year’s recipients are: Mary Grace Kausen of Irvine, Stephen P. Lamb of La Palma, Diane W. Sinnott of Lake Forest, Stephen F. Chavez of Yorba Linda, Gail Koren of Brea and Janet Pesak of Anaheim.

At 31, Western State is the county’s oldest law school. It is located in Fullerton.
