Farrakhan Cuts Short Israeli Trip

From Times Wire Reports

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan canceled a trip to Jerusalem at the last minute and returned to Jordan, saying he felt unwelcome in Israel and feared for his safety. A Palestinian media group said the black American leader, known for his vitriolic anti-Semitic remarks, had received death threats from Jewish extremists. Israeli officials said they will not keep Farrakhan out of Israel, but they also said he will not be received by government officials unless he apologizes for his earlier statements.
