Holocaust Account Claims Confirmed

Two-thirds of the claims for dormant Holocaust-era accounts at Swiss banks have been confirmed as valid so far, an international panel in Zurich said. About 6,600 claims have been filed, and 4,500 have been confirmed as authentic. In a global campaign, Swiss banks have published the names of 16,000 accounts containing about $42 million that have been identified as possibly belonging to Holocaust victims.
