City to Offer Class on Mexican Cooking

“Mexican Fiesta,” a one-session cooking class offered by the city’s Community Services Department, is being offered this month.

The three-hour course will include lectures and demonstrations of how to prepare sauces and entrees, including salsa verde, fiesta salsa, Cotija enchiladas, Baja-style fish tacos, refried beans and Spanish rice.

The class will begin at 6:30 p.m. July 30 at Edison Community Center, 21377 Magnolia St. The course costs $32 plus a $6 materials fee due at the beginning of class.
