VitalCom Recruiting New Chief Executive

VitalCom Inc. said it will recruit a new president and chief executive to succeed Donald W. Judson, who is unable to handle all of his duties because of a recent health problem.

Judson will remain chairman of the company, which provides computer networks for patient-monitoring information. The company said his health problem is not serious.

Judson, 58, has served as president and chief executive since January. He also served in those roles from 1983 through August 1995.
