Restrictions Lifted on Mir Commander
From Times Wire Reports
Mission Control lifted all medical restrictions on the commander of the Mir space station, whose heart problems delayed repairs aboard the orbiting spaceship. Commander Vasily Tsibliyev will continue to take some medication but is no longer restricted to low-stress activity. Aboard Mir, the two Russian cosmonauts prepared for their Aug. 14 return to Earth, while U.S. astronaut Michael Foale worked on scientific experiments.
