2 Gang Members May Face Death Penalty
Two gang members who went on a killing rampage in Pomona that left three adults and a teenage boy dead were convicted Monday of multiple counts of first-degree murder and may face the death penalty.
The same jury that convicted Richard Aguirre, 20, and Michael Guzman, 19, of the four murders will begin deliberating today on whether to sentence the men to death or life in prison without parole.
The jury took a day and half to find Aguirre guilty of four counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances, and Guzman guilty of three counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances.
