Job Fair to Bring 100 Employers to the Mall

More than 100 employers armed with more than 5,000 jobs will attend the Canoga Park-West Hills Community Job Fair at Fallbrook Mall on Saturday.

Representatives from such employers as Macy’s, Universal Studios, United Parcel Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Wellpoint Health Services, and the military, will be on hand.

Brian Rokitenetz, vice chairman of the fair, said job-seekers should dress for success and bring a resume.

The fair starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. Rokitenetz said the fair offers a session on how to prepare for an interview as well as one-on-one interviews with employers.

There will be free transportation via the West Valley Smart Shuttle. The shuttle will make stops every hour on the hour, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the following MTA stations: the Roscoe-Van Nuys stop, Victory-Winnetka, Canoga Park-Nordhoff, CSUN, the Van Nuys-Independence stop and Wilbur-Reseda.
