City Connects Number for Code Complaints
A telephone line has been established by the city’s Code Enforcement Department to receive reports from people who wish to file complaints.
The number is (714) 773-5704, and calls will be accepted 24 hours a day.
Examples of code violations include the storage of junked vehicles in frontyards or weeds that are so tall they pose a fire hazard, city officials said.
Callers are asked to give their name and phone number and a detailed report of the alleged violation. Code enforcers said the caller’s identity is kept confidential. Anonymous calls also will be accepted.
